Dead Sea Poster Dead Sea Web Site

Under The Border Pictures proudly presents DEAD SEA, the true story of Yehuda “Crazy Johnny” Attias, one of the most feared gangsters in New York City’s long history of organized crime. Brutal by choice, ruthless by necessity, Attias put the so-called “Israeli Mafia” on the criminal underworld map via murder, domestic and international drug trafficking, fraud and extortion, not to mention the largest gold heist the city had ever seen. Starring Emilio Roso (The Virgin of Tijuana, Zone of the Dead) as “Crazy Johnny,” The Dead Sea pulls no punches and takes no prisoners as it explores the short and violent life of a man that knew no bounds when it came to attaining power.

Visrin of Tijuana Virgin of Tijuana

Under The Border Pictures proudly presents The Virgin of Tijuana, a character-driven action/thriller set amidst the harsh backdrops of illegal immigration and white slavery. Zero (Emilio Roso, The Dead Sea, Zone of the Dead) is a disgraced Mexican cop, ousted from the force for refusing to betray his oath of “Service and Protection.” Now, his world revolves around his younger sister, Maria. But when Maria—with the help of human traffickers known as coyotes—makes an illicit journey across the border in search of a better life in America and quickly becomes caught up in the insidious world of sexual slavery within the Los Angeles underbelly, Zero must rescue her before it is too late. In the City of Angels, Zero encounters opposition at every turn, with friendly faces and helping hands nowhere to be found. Through steely resolve and unyielding determination Zero manages to persevere on his quest, eventually coming face to face with Mr. Chow (Ric Young, The Last Emperor, Seven Years in Tibet), the criminal kingpin at the center of both the human trafficking and white slavery rings. Countless lives hang in the balance, with Maria’s and Zero’s at the top of the list. While The Virgin of Tijuana is a fictional tale about the limits of courage and conviction, it also throws a blistering spotlight on the very real problem of illegal immigration and the innumerable pitfalls many of these honest and hardworking people encounter while simply trying to better theirs and their family’s lives.
